medo,I do believe I read somewhere you need at least 3/4 mile to reduce cross pollination! I am keeping certain ones in pots ,I plan to bag flowers and/or hand pollinate. The pink one was supposed to be Violet Feather,but turned out pink! I am thrilled to death with it! :D One thing I really like about MG's is they are full of wonderful surprises,and I am not picky anyway,I love them all! :) So my first attempts at hand pollination will benefit my buddies! ;) mnwsgal,I would be glad to share seeds from the pink one with you. I was so happy to see it! I really wanted a MG that was a lighter shade of pink,so when that opened I was in no way disappointed it wasn't a violet color.The Honeysuckle smells fantastic,although it is crazy growing,I find it worth the effort to control it! Besides I love the look of it,I have a well established driveway wall full of it,I love the way it cascades down! :) stagerat,Thanks so much for the compliments,I love taking pics,especially of plantlife. I am finding I like this one a whole lot,it seems like it compliments whatever it is near.I really love MG's too,I was so happy to see how many different ones there are. I think each year from here on out I will only plant 2 or 3 varieties at a time....lol...we will see about that! ;) Thanks Karen! :D terrene,that would also be Dames Rocket,they really love it,I see them frequently hanging around since it bloomed. I am going to have to learn my butterfly cats,I would really like for my whole yard to be a sanctuary for butterflies and birds. So far I have succeeded in providing for the birds,they really like my yard,and I have already seen birds this year I didn't see last year ,my goal is to learn more about both this year! :) Carol,I will have seed for those African Daisies at the end of the season,I potted them up with a Chocolate Mint and plan to keep them away from the others. So if you would like some, remind me if I don't contact you,you are more than welcome to them! The Gilla sure is pretty isnt it? I absolutely adore them,next year there will be lots of them,although as fast as they came up and bloomed, I probably have time this year to start some more! :) Carrie thanks so much! All i can say is i started them on a heating mat...used crappy lights/south facing window at first, and then moved them into a little greenhouse i have in March. Would actually move them back and forth...take them out about 11AM and bring them back in at 4ish! Greenhouses are awesome on clear sunny spring days...outside temps of 30 and inside around 90F...did that until mid May or so and since then its been so warm they have sat outside on the driveway. This spring has been very warm as most of you guys know. I do fertilize? water regularly. I have a lot of gardening experience...been container growing plants for almost 10 years. I like the performance i get out of containers. Especially with certain veggies. Just WATER! a lot during hot weather. I'm always scared i'm going to fry the roots. I got the seed of Ebay. I really don't know if i'm going to keep all these or what. I have WAY too many plants! Basjoo... just getting going. I store the corms in the basement.

Hi Laura, sorry I missed your post, you posted just 1 minute before I made my post haha! The beaches in bermuda were definitely the nicest I have ever seen. There were plenty of large rocks around the beaches, but the sand itself was really soft and fine. The beaches around my area dont compare at all! Definitely one of my favorite vacations even though I was only there for 5 days. My plumerias are doing really well. The cuttings you sent me are growing really well, the Scott Pratt is doing especially well, it put out a ton of growth this summer. The California sunset is doing well too, but I think I will give it more sun so it grows a little faster! My largest plumeria is approaching 13 feet tall (pot included) and is now the tallest tropical plant in my yard (even larger than the Adondila I bought!)so it's going to be a real challenge finding a place for that one inside. It has 3 inflos on it now but I can only take pictures of the blooms from my upstairs window! It's about a week or 2 away from blooming. Looks like it's going to have to get cut back next spring as much as I hate having to do that to my plumerias! I havent posted too many pics of my plumerias this year because they all bloomed so well last year that this year there have been barely any blooms at all. My plumeria Divine put out 2 flowers from the inflo that it made indoors and it is just now starting to make another inflo. My Pretty Princess has always been a late one to bloom and it's inflo is still a good month away from blooming. I hope it blooms before it's too late! Hopefully it will be a warm fall and nmaybe next summer the plumerias will all have enough growth to bloom like crazy again. I hope your plumerias and tropicals are all doing well! -Alex
