Candle Lantern

Aw, one of those "little presents" I received but did not give it real consideration until I recently gave it a try. Really like the thing! Use it inside the tent or the little popup camper and it gives off enough respectable light to see your way around; and the candle lasts quite awhile. It's called the UCO candle lantern.

I have had that exact candle lantern for about 30 years, if you dont have it you need to get the reflector that goes with it.
Used it for camping for decades.

Thanks. It says "Indoor/Outdoor" on the label so I'm hoping they last this summer at least. As long as water can't flood into the battery compartment on the bottom I think they should be ok. I'll bring them in during winter of course. Except, wouldn't that be lovely to see them glowing amid the snowy boughs? sigh. Thanks cyn, the "stone bench" is actually a DIY made from two concrete benches years ago. I used one for the seat and one for the back, plus legs from the first bench. The back should be dug out and set back in place one of these days as it's slowly sinking. Lasted a very long time tho.

Jeanne, beautiful display. I love these dishes! Your matching lamp is a wonderful addition. After reading about the toy truck bank, that's where it belongs for sure. BTW, thanks for sharing that with us. Your window/glass decor w/birds in front is so pretty. I enjoy drinking Hazelnut creamer in my coffee so bet that neat candle smells great. I really like the cocoa fireside fragrance that is out now. We get alot of comments with people walking into our office. I'm hoping to get my rolls and pie crusts made this weekend. Will also be doing the rest of my grocery shopping if I can get out. We are suppose to get a big storm and temperatures of -20 tomorrow night so not looking forward to that. We don't have enough snow cover so Not Good. Punk

This looks like my MIL's house, except that she has three times the amount stuff and multiple themes. Ever wondered where your blue geese from the 1980's ended up after you donated them to Goodwill? They went to my MIL's house. Same with your Beany Babies. I amuse myself when there by counting the number of items on each horizontal surface. Generally each and every tabletop - and there are many - have about 16 items on them. Reading the book by David Tolin, "Buried In Treasures," helped me accept that I wasn't going to change her. But I still almost start to cry when I look at all the money spent trying to shop her way out of loneliness. And the thought of the job we have ahead of us when she dies . . .
