Okay, this is sort of off topic, but tied in! Up until now, for over 25 years, I have had very long thick wavy hair. Like almost waist length. Last week I decided to donate my hair to an organization called Locks of Love. They take hair and make wigs for children with medical hair loss. We had somebody come to our school to cut off a bunch of pony tails and then we all went to the salon later to have our hair fixed up a bit. My hair is now shoulder length, layered, and has highlights. Mind you, I've never even had a professional haircut in my life so this is a BIG change!
So, now the tie in to camping... previously, I've always had my hair tied back and braided the entire time. Now it's a little short for anything besides a stubby pony tail but it feels hot on my neck when it's down! So, what do you all do with your hair when camping? I'm not about to drag all kinds of hair stuff with me camping!
