Enticing cedar waxwings to feeder

I have a pair of cedar waxwings building a nest in a tree in my yard (first time ever - so excited lol). I read that you can sometimes entice them to a feeder with raisins and apples so I hung a feeder close by with raisins, apples and grapes but so far they haven't come to the feeder. Has anyone had any luck with them coming to a feeder? Maybe it just takes some time for them to notice it and come feed at it. They did find my nesting material of wool and dog hair that they are making good use of. So far I've only seen them filling their beaks with the wool. Haven't seen them bring anything to the tree like twigs, grass etc. Maybe they figure a woollen nest might be more comfy lol. Anyway, any thoughts on the feeder?
