You must call local wildlife mg office about HOSP

Protect yourself and the sites you manage get a hand written document.

That states Its legal to trap and kill HOSP. In RI one is not needed I am doing

the the state a service by controlling the HOSP. In MA a permit to trap is needed.

one is not needed i live in RI. But in order to protect the Country club in MA

I did check so i am safe. About killing HOSP Press there chest for three

mins they will suffocate and expire. I use in house traps mostly and the management is well aware of what i do so we are all protected.

As for the general public and HOSP I will not waste any time explaining why i do what i do. They have no clue about birds and nature. Just be discrete

Sooner or later you will get caught just give them that little white lie. I release

them at Mcdonalds...NOT!!!!

I probably have a reputation for killing HOSP after 20 years news travels

fast....The good news HOSP are declining in the northeast. And sites I used

trap 60 a year. Now i am down to no more then 10 a year. Management does

work. Takes time but you can void a area of HOSP. Harsh winters decimate

there population also. So what ever one you dont get they probably will perish in the winter kill.

Every state is different and how they manage HOSP just call and drop a hint

and see what they have to say Bottom line Its very legal in this country to

trap HOSP. But if a permit is needed best to get it to protect yourself.
