I think I get it and how it will look will depend on what type of cabinetry you are using. If you are using face frame cabinetry and full overlay or frameless it could look odd depending on your sensibility if your using a standard five sided cabinet without a door. My Mom used a frameless stock product and you can see the middle cabinet which will be open looks a bit odd in picture #1 because you see the cabinet box and it is inset 3\4 of an inch from the cabs on either side because it has no door (with frameless you would also see where the shelves meet the box and the pins that support the shelves). Less of an issue with face frame but I still think the indent where there is no door may not look that great. Not many choices with this particular cabinetry line so we ordered a standard cab with a glass door and had the door and hinges taken off, the glass removed and then had it re-installed using 'L' brackets so it frames the cab. We added some glass shelves and it looks pretty good. With a more versatile product you can emphasize the open cabs by using a different door style (same finish) on them, something with an arch or something like that. If you go through the finished kitchen blogs you may find better examples. All of the ones I saved are of inset cabs where it is a non issue (doors are flush with the frames anyway) but those were the ones that had the flush finished look we wanted to replicate as best we could. Mamadadapaige's was another kitchen I booked marked (again inset)when we were trying to figure out what to do because her open cab has some nice simple detailing at the top and the glass shelves. We have the Kraus faucet KPF-1602, which is the "pre-rinse" style or "professional" style faucet. It's not the style you are looking for, but you said you wanted opinions on the brand nevertheless. We love it! Initially we looked at this pre-rinse/professional style of faucet by Franke, KWC, Hansgrohe, etc., and they were all in the neighborhood of $1000+. We couldn't believe the price of the Kraus by comparison, but decided to take a chance. We have now had the Kraus faucet in place for 5 months, and it has performed beautifully. It arrived packed very well, including a flannel cover, and weighed a lot; a very solid faucet. In fact, we actually like it better than the high-end brands we saw in the showrooms. Lots of water pressure, and its appearance has wow factor. The only negative I can think of is that the installation instructions were very poorly written, and the parts diagram was confusing. Yet, DH and I installed it ourselves, and figured it out. I think the installation took us 45 minutes, and that is with the confusing instructions and we are non-plumbers. A plumber should have no problem. I'll link the site we bought ours, which has a 5% off deal which made it the least expensive site we found for Kraus. I know Overstock sells the Kraus faucets too. It is one I left off the list...my bad. My fear and experience may have led me to overstate the side effects of SSRIs, which are, as you say, supposed to be better than earlier generations of drugs. But then again, from the NIH However, questions about the safety and tolerability of SSRIs have emerged with their continued use. For example, in the original placebo-controlled clinical trials of fluoxetine in depressed patients, sexual dysfunction was reported in 1.9% of trial participants receiving fluoxetine. However, postmarketing clinical trials have reported rates of sexual dysfunction as high as 75%. Given that these drugs are viewed as relatively safe and efficacious heavily marketed by drug cos prescribed to larger populations including even preschoolers prescribed for use beyond depression prescribed for longer periods of time preferred by insurance cos as cheaper than therapy use of these drugs has skyrocketed. According to the CDC, antidepressant use has increased 400% from 1988 to 2008. Moreover, less than one third of those taking a single antidepressant have seen a mental health professional in the prior year. Add to that evidence that these drugs may not as effective as purported to be... Altogether, there were forty-two trials of the six drugs. Most of them were negative. Overall, placebos were 82 percent as effective as the drugs, as measured by the Hamilton Depression Scale (HAM-D), a widely used score of symptoms of depression. The average difference between drug and placebo was only 1.8 points on the HAM-D, a difference that, while statistically significant, was clinically meaningless. The results were much the same for all six drugs: they were all equally unimpressive. A normal root canal may take a week or less, but in your case, I fear it will be longer. You are having pain and the nerve in the tooth is dead. Also dead are the blood vessels and chamber pulp. You are having pain because the tooth and probably its support structure are infected. The time required to open the tooth and clean it out, and then plug isn't much. The problem is this: The Dentist does not dare to put a permanent plug in that tooth until the infection has been conquered. How much time does that take - who knows, but its got to be done. Here's the drill. [Sorry about that choice of word :-) ]. The tooth is opened and cleaned out. An antibiotic may be inserted in the tooth. A temporary plug is installed and a pill form of antibiotic may be prescribed. Another session will be scheduled for exam. Followup sessions will continue until the infection has cleared and then the job will be completed with a permanent plug and filling. After completion, another followup may be recommended to insure that the infection is gone. An infection complicates a root canal. The root canal itself, does not require a lot of time. There is an upside. After successful completion, you will feel much better, and the tooth will seem normal.
