Thanks Ken! I'm glad to hear it moves a bit slower. I think I am going to put it next to the herb garden so I see it right out the kitchen window. A couple feet over from it is a bush called Rosemary Salix, it is a pretty blueish green that resembles rosemary. Since it's in the salix family, I'm sure it will handle heavy pruning just fine and I will be able to keep it at a size that compliments this tree. I think it will be a nice color next to the variegated maple. Sitting there is it's pot currently, but will go plant shortly, need to get stuff planted today, suppose to be 108 tomorrow with the heat index, yikes! Thanks! man.. its just a red banner day for you all around.. lol .. congrats.. and you are welcome ... ken ps: you must have done a magnificent job.. because it aged ... more mature leaf form.. as compared to slaughtering it.. and it regressing in size.. and i presume.. that is what you are thanking me for ...

well... i try NOT to make it all up ... lol i would have filled the bottom of the box with soil .... and 'considered' them planted... rotf... now.. the other truism ... if they had paid $100 for them.. they would have committed suicide on the way home.... were they undulata???? ken

Marci, according to my almanac, (picky me) winter officially starts at 7:22 p.m. EST tonight. Then, on Christmas Day, we will gain one full minute of daylight! What a present for our orchids and us! Lots of buds are patiently waiting for more sun, and it's a really sunny day today! Carol
