I have bluebirds close to fledging. Today I saw what I believe is a sparrow sitting on top of the house. Is it too late to put up a sparrow spooker. Someone said it would keep the parent birds from coming back to feed the babies.
I would put it up and watch to see that the parent birds have accepted it. I think the closer they are to fledging, the more devoted the parents are. I don't think you'll have a problem.
