Baltimore Orioles

Each year we are lucky enough to get several Baltimore Orioles. One year one of them (I have video of this) kept climbing up and down one of our screens. He'd then hop over to a window Hummingbird feeder, then back to the screen. It did that two years in a row, now they come to the Hummingbird feeder and to their own feeder with grape jelly. I used to include oranges but they never seemed to touch the oranges, just the jelly. For the past two years, there has been a Grey Catbird that arrives the very same time and they take turns at the Oriole feeder. It's almost like they are a couple. One will wait at the top of the feeder while the other feeds. This year it seems we have an over abundance of Gold Finches. Last year we had very few, now we are going through thistle every three days. Just thought I would share what I thought was odd behavior with the Oriole and Catbird.
