Help -- Parents aren't leaving the nesting box after fledging

Baby bluebirds seem to have fledged, however the parents are not leaving the box. They are no longer feeding but have been staying near and on the box for the last several days. We saw the last babies leave the nest over the weekend (three days ago). Feeding stopped well over four days ago to our best account. Should we examine the next quickly to see if an injured baby is still in the nest or if the parents have already started another family. I can't imagine from what I've read that they could have begun another brood this soon. We've been waiting to clean out the old nest but do not know what to do at this point.
