I had the same thing happen a few days ago . . . see my post "Hummer in the garage" or read on to see what I did . . . I have 5 feeders, none visible from any other, and who knows how many regular visitors. Right now I suspect I'm getting migration activity, because they're all over the place. This morning the side garage door was left open and when I went in the garage, a poor hummer was in there, frantically trying to get out. He was just beating himself on the ceiling, flying from one area to the next, obviously very upset. I opened the two overhead doors and tried to gently guide him out with a broom but he got more frantic. Thinking cap time. I closed the overheads, went out and got one of the feeders and suspended it in the open side door, about 2 feet from the top of the door. Then I got in the car and watched. In about 5 seconds he flew down to the feeder, took several deep drinks, and sat and rested. He obviously knew exactly what it was, even if it was in a strange place! I needed to leave for a meeting, so I gave him about 5 minutes to rest, and then quietly walked toward him. He took off out the open door to the neighbor's arbor vitae. Problem solved! Maybe that would have been the obvious solution to all of you, but if not, keep it in mind if you ever have a hummer in your garage! Dumb me: Should have gotten the camera!!

Last year was my first year with raised beds using the square foot method. I found that dogs love to dig around in the new mix at first, so I made the chicken wire covers like the book said. I used 2x2s instead of 1x2s, which I don't think is better but I had the 2x2s. The chicken wire was a pain to work with, but kept the dogs out. I stacked them beside my storage shed over the winter. Now they look like crap but still work. Attached is a photo.

Bt makes me sick so be careful if you use that. I must be allergic to it; it is supposed to be harmless. I thought I had developed an allergy to tomatoes. Then I realized I can eat them early in the season. It was only after I sprayed that they made me sick. I always wash tomatoes before I eat them and if I have sprayed anything, I don't even eat the cherry tomatoes out in the garden. It took two years of getting sick to figure this out.

The most common type of common sunflower (Helianthus annuus) for micro greens is oilseed sunflower used for making sunflower oil. The seeds are also used as bird feed since they are meatier and have a higher oil content, giving birds more nutrition. Seeds of all varieties of Helianthus annuus are edible to humans.
