Newly hatched TRES.......

I was taking a walk yesterday and as I was approaching one of the nestboxes in our yard I saw an adult TRES with something white in its mouth. So I just had to look and yep, there was one baby TRES that had hatched. Went out later to take a pic and there were two. Checked again early evening and there were four. There is another box paired with this one that has TRES in it too, they built and laid eggs at the same time. I checked that box in the early evening and there was one hatched (out of six). I havent' checked either box today as it has been a bit windy and on the cool side. Maybe tomorrow. Here is the picture I took....they are soooo tiny!

On another note, the second pair of BLues at the park where I monitor 5 houses have hatched (on Tuesday) day 13. All five have hatched, in the other box the babies blues are over a week old now, only four of the five hatched. The Blues nest here at the house is complete, we are just awaiting that first egg!! Then up will go the wren guard and sparrow spooker. Today I heard sparrows in the yard, I believe they are little ones already!! I was able to dispose of one of them.
