I like Eskimo Kisses which is unusual because I don't like off whites, but if I squint I can think of it as pale yellow. The real star of the show for me is Colorado Moonfire. What's not to like? Great color and form. Nice show........Maryl

The early bird check in is purchased either when you get your ticket or can be done up until 25 hours in advance of the flight. They reserve your boarding pass spot 36 hours before flight time, and you still must go in and print your boarding priority 24 hours before the flight but those spots are assigned in order of the sign up for the service. The thing with it is that you have no idea how many people have already done it, so you don't know if it is worthwhile or not. They will sell as many EB spaces as are requested, so in theory, everyone on that plane could have done it and you may still be at the end of the list. I have had clients end up with B boarding spots on popular flights (Vegas, Orlando). The service is non-refundable for the most part, so if your have to cancel your flight you get the amount of the ticket to re-use but not the EB fee, but it is only $10 so it won't break the bank.

I noticed buds on my Hellebore/Lenten roses yesterday so those will bloom between now and March. I'm in New England so buds on ANYTHING in January is cause for a smile. I have four of them planted in part sun on the northeast corner of my garden as well as a few others growing in full shade on the north side of the house. They apparently thrive in my slightly acidic sandy loam soil. Snowdrops, puschkinia and crocus my mom & brother planted 30+ years ago have naturalized over the years and now come up in the lawn every spring. I love seeing them every year; they come up before the grass needs mowing so for a few days the lawn sports a carpet of purple, white & yellow flowers.
