You know, it was not expensive in money OR time to do this, it was pretty darned simple. :) DH got a PS EyeToy color camera for $5.00 at Gamestop, and YahooLive is the host for the cam, sound and chat, at no cost to us. My husband had the know-how to get things going, but you can find out online and it isn't difficult or complicated. The number of people viewing the cam and talking in chat crashes my husband's computer sometimes, but we just restart things and everything's fine. We wanted to hatch chicks anyway, so thought we'd share the experience. The cam just pointed through the viewing panes in the lid of the incubator, now we set it inside the brooder box. Baby chicks DO have a wonderful effect on all who gaze upon them, it's like Valium for your eyes. *L* And yeah, it is VERY remarkable that Chicken Sister has babies this late in life--but then, both of the boys LOVE her to distraction, you should have seen them run over and burble over her when we brought her back from the vet after her egg-binding adventure. What a couple of love-struck chuckleheads. :) It was very sweet, they missed her so! We'll be hatching again the weekend of June 21st, and will resume chickam then, if anyone wants to watch. We will have our incubators issues solved before we start more eggs. Velvet ~:>

Well........it didn't work out too well. All 4 chicken eggs hatched out @ days 19 to 20 (a Fri & Sat.) I had to take them to a brooder box because the momma got off the eggs to take care of them. She wasn't off more than a couple hours and it was 104 degrees at the time. One guinea hatched out on day 28 but it was dead by the time I got home from work. It was 105 degrees and I wasn't there to show it where to get water. On day 32 I chunked the other 5 guinea eggs into the pond and put the 4 chicks back in with broody hen. She pecked at them terribly and eventually abandoned them, so now she's back in the coop with all the others and I'm taking care of the chicks in a separate area.

I AM MICHAEL FROM LAGOS NIGERIA have been experiencing this for the past few weeks. I did not check toilet because I never thought that mosquito can come out of frequently used water closet toilet.but each time weopen the lid a lot of mosquito fly out with many drown on the surface of the clean water in the toilet But today I made a discovery I was surprised to .see mosquitos coming from the sewage tank underground through thepipe .they are tracing the light to the toilet. Above the S portion of the wc where water is gushing out from the top after flushing there is a hole that link directly to the pipe that carries waste to the sewage .tank. mosquitos from the sewage tank are passing through the hole into WC It is a short cut into the WC without passing through the S portion that always fill with water The Only solution is to block with tissue paper. You won't see mosquito or Any toilet pest again

Me again, glad to hear your attic is insulated. I have no idea why I fixated on that last time, I think I was just imagining cool towels meeting wet air and seeing condensation happening all over them! Anyway, what a nice space you have to work with! With a bathroom, though, fixtures tend to hug the perimeter of the space, just as you have drawn the room. It makes for a nice 6x8 space for dancing in the center of the room, useless for anything else, since the two of you will be crossing it in so many different directions! So twirl your partner when you happen to meet in the center. You could possibly change the direction of the tub under the window so that the foot or head of the tub were directly under the window, and the tub was jutting out into the room, kind of parallel to the toilet wall (or is it a half wall?). For this to work, the vanity of the tub user would be moved over to the right, so that this person kind of walks around the tub a bit to get to it. You could put in an "L" cabinet there, giving the tub user a bit of a sitting vanity at the South end of the window (lets pretend this map is done on the NSEW coordinates). Day lighting and makeup table may go together well. Or not. Back at the current vanity area, we have possibly created room to insert a shallow Towel Tower 2' - 3' wide and as high as you like or need, between the two sink vanities. Try to keep it 1 ft deep, as the other occupant still has to squeeze past on the way to the vanity on the right. Maybe the towels can be rolled and placed into a grid, so they will stack while rolled and slid into their cabinet. Like bottles in a wine rack. The other obvious place I saw for a towel-holding piece of furniture was next to the door as you enter from the closet area. If the little potty alcove is as small as you have drawn, a dresser could be placed there to hold bath linens. I will go shopping at Pottery Barn for an example, and post it here. One way to make your walk-in shower not need any glass door or shower curtain would be to curl in the "wall" or "glass" that is represented by your dotted line. By simply adding a curve to that wall and making the entrance walk a little bit past that curl, you will keep most of the water of the shower contained. If you want to be sure that steam escapes so the shower will dry out, you have a good fan exhaust system to run after the shower, and you do not have the shower walls go much higher than the head level of the occupants. If the walls are solid, people may appreciate having such a large shower be low enough to see out of, as well. Here is a link that might be useful: dressers to hold towels
