LOL... some guys bought all the cell phones they had at 2 in the morning. Seemed odd enough the police were called and the Prosecutor charged them with being terrorists. Turned out they were not really terrorists. Seems cell phones cost different prices in different places so these guys were just making money buying them in one State and selling them in another. Lots of mean jokes about the Prosecutor after that... he will continue to get re-elected anyways. Local Wallyworld employees are terrible about keeping things in stock. It took six months and a complaint to a friend that works there for them to restock work pants in my size. I was going to buy a camera they had on display but they had none in stock for weeks. Finally I asked and the fellow looked it up and informed me they were not in stock or on order. I have discovered that things like the camera can be ordered online and picked up at the local store! A few years back I worked at a factory that used hot glue sticks by the thousand. Walmart was the best price we could find and they were happy to get us glue sticks by the case. All I need now is to figure out how to get my cat's food stocked again. Elder cat Yoko likes Friskie's Special Diet in the Turkey flavor. Walmart had it for years but now I have to drive to get it elsewhere. Yoko is going on 13 years old and gets anything she wants. I bought a new pillow for my bed. The best most expensive one Walmart had. Yoko took one look and claimed it... guess I'll have to buy another for myself. I was delighted when they put in a car service bay. Had my oil changed several times until they started getting weird. Seems for what ever reason it became a deal to put in Mobil synthetic oil for me. So I went back to changing my own oil... which I buy at Walmart! Even so I shop there all the time because they are the only store in town open all night long. A nice time for me to shop because of my work hours. The night people know me now so buying a 24 pack of TP after midnight does not even get me a second glance. They get me to buy lots of junk I don't need just because it is cheap... for $10 even I'll try a George Foreman grill. I'll have to look for the Maytag Blue next time. Maybe Sunday as I have that day off. : ) lyra
