I have never actually seen a bluebird in real life before, and was stunned to realize that I think one has built a nest in my gutter! Here's what I know - there are two bluebirds around - I saw both at the same time today. Each day when I open the garage door, one of the bluebirds flies out of my gutter. I have a gutter guard on the gutter, but it looks like it has been pulled up at one end to allow access.

I don't actually see the bluebird in the gutter, and haven't actually seen a nest. But, she is there almost all of the time (as best as I can tell) - I open the garage door, she flies out of gutter.

Is is really possible that she might have built a nest in the gutter? Do I need to do anything to make sure babies can find their way out? I would love to see them, but don't want to run the risk of disturbing them or mama.....

I also now need to figure out where/how to do a bluebird house - I'm hooked!
