It's like spring here already?? But again we had snow and icy on the 20th of April last year with dropping temp after all the plants were out. Climate Change will dictate not some furry critter, I'm sorry! The squirrels here have been digging up bulbs so I could use the one in the photo, send him up to the PNW!

It poured rain all day yesterday, we got just under 3" of rain. A tornado was spotted & the wind was really blowing. It seems like it has been snowing or raining all winter, yet our local weatherman is always saying we need more. I just don't see how :) I see deer around here all the time, but I've only seen possible deer damage once. I was weeding in the backyard one day, heard the dog barking, & a deer ran almost up to me. Guess she didn't see me there on the ground. The evergreen daylilies are looking greener & perking up. If you don't have signs of spring yet, it is on its way!

This one doesn't get much direct sun but is does get a lot of light. There were two Junes but the June on the right was moved as they filled in. The Hostalibrary says there is debate about whether there are two June sports being sold. I thought that for a while but I think June just changes so much depending on the season, light conditions and age of the plant. Check out Hank Zumach's June in the Hostalibrary. Wow! Boxes are flying!!! And of course, the host is late getting her's out! Sorry Annie! I'm hoping to get it in the mail by Wed at the latest! Will someone PLEASE let out a BIG YELL for me?!? I've lost my voice today, it started out just squeaky and raspy, now I am down to barely a whisper! I never realized how much I talk! LOL! AND, I've never had this before and never knew how straining it is to try and talk with no voice! I am trying some home remedies *grabbing the last tea back from Dan* Sorry Dan, but I am ill and need medicine! hehe Maybe we can get someone to go for a "tea" run! Sprouts!!! Does anyone else besides Linda have sprouts?!?! Should I have them already? We are still getting temps in the 20's some nights! We got 4" of snow last Tuesday morning, and by 2:00 it was almost 60 degrees out and it had all melted! They are calling for more of that icky stuff all week! Well, I'm gonna go get Zack ready for bed, he thinks this is just great that I can't talk and of course Jamie is out of town so there is no here to "enforce" what I whisper and he keeps saying "what?
