i dont hit links to pix ... i see you are having the common pix problem ... oh well ... so i hit one .... so i will guess.. sunburn from taking it outside into direct sun ... [maybe now that i saw a pic ..] over watering .... its stressed .... and just fyi ... fert is NEVER a response to stress ... where did you get it .. mail order.. local.. where are you ... etc .... on some level.. you are loving it too much.. you were told how to water a tree ... your tried to drown it.. then put it in sun .. then fert'd it ... if it were mine.. i would put it outdoors in full bright shade ... now that all chance of frost is gone ... and ignore it for a month.. and hope for the best ... benign negligence has served me well.. with trees in pots ... lol ... they just dont need a lot of water.. and too much is rarely good ... do not repot it.. until the stress is gone ... dont heap more stress on it right now ... ken

We have 2 year old zinfandel grapevine that is bearing lot of fruit, but they are not very sweet yet. Some of them have started dropping down. is there any reason for that? Should we let them sit longer on the vine? From what I remember from last year, grapes were sweeter but smaller. But it was its first year of fruit. I have ordered a refractometer and we will check the sugar level. But if anyone has any experience with this please share.
