While all your photos are incredible, I have a particular fondness for the tree swallow and the wood duck. I can hardly wait to see the tree swallows again, and am always hoping for a view of the elusive wood duck.

These are gorgeous. Perhaps you can answer an image question for me. I'm pretty new to this forum and even newer to posting pictures. I just posted a small one today for the first time. How do you post these large images here? I kept getting my image rejected until I reduced it so much that it's now the size of a postage stamp. I must be missing something because I see other images here that are larger with great resolution such as these you've posted. Thanks for sharing your beautiful pics and for any help you (or anyone) can offer.

Jannd, You can upload your pictures to one of the free hosting sites. These pictures are on Photobucket, which is the site I use, but there are many others out there. Then just link the image in your posting. Most of the sites will give you the link that you can just copy/paste.

Or, as I like to say, Picasa Web Albums (from Google) is a great website; you can post links in four photo sizes, have full page slideshows with one click, post videos, etc. Each photo lists full camera equipment, settings, and has the option of showing a Google map location.
