I was hoping to find Quadra this season but I don't see it at any of the nurseries I've been to. I guess there is always next year. I would love to grow bigger shrubs but none of mine has yet. However, I don't want a monster shrub either because I don't have too much space either. Or rather, I need to sacrifice my vegetable garden for it..lol. Like I said before, it is really nice to see other gardeners in our cold country that is able to grow roses that beautiful. I am always envious of our southern neighbours or those that live in the West.

@Alex and Larsi, thanks for the great info! I hope you don't mind my hijacking this thread. Sadly, I need to stack. I agree, I hate to spend that kind of money on a dryer. Part of the issue is that my current Frigidaire pair is literally jammed in the laundry closet. And it's small for washer/dryers these days! Add that with my dryer being broken, I'm looking at options. Of course the most cost effective is to repair, which I will anyway (and forward to a family member) and jam it back in and hope it doesn't need any repairs until my back and shoulders heal, lol. Or replace now with a set that fits better. I'm on the fence. Is a condenser dryer shrink cotton polos on low hot, or just hot because it's a closed loop? What are average times for say jeans and towels? Or polos and chinos on low heat? The washer is my dream. As a massage therapist, I buy a washer based on how high the temp gets for getting massage oil/cream out of my sheets. Being able to process quickly will be great too. Thanks for the insight, I wish I could see them in action. I've only seen them unplugged. Are they quiet, like the residential ones?

It looks great! I was recently at an appliance store looking at the Miele W1, and the salesperson said “I need to show you the Electrolux with the onboard heater. I sold two recently and have been getting great feedback from my customers. My dad sold Electrolux vacuums in this store 30 or 40 years ago and they were always a great company”. (It’s an old-style local appliance store). The salesman would likely make less of a commission because the Electrolux costs less than the Miele, but he nevertheless told me to think about it. I’ve been hesitating over the Miele W1 washer because of the other thread that discusses the difficulty getting the cycles you want, and the complexity of the controls and sometimes having to use the app to get the cycles you want. The Miele heats water to 170° or more, and that is the thing that is drawing me in. I am glad to see you love your Electrolux. Any further updates or impressions would be welcome, including any negatives.
