While I have only "spoken" to him through email, I will whole-heartedly agree. He is a really awesome guy. He is so encouraging and willing to do whatever he can for the well-being of the Bluebirds.

I own at least 10 of his traps and I use them in gourds as well to protect martins. I can set five traps in a park and trap five HOSP within a hr.
Those traps were a god send to this bluebirder perfect tool for the trade.

Trapped more HOSP with the VanErt than any other trap. My birds are safer and I am spreading the word with ALL of my birding friends. I spoke to Mr. VanErt once as well as Mr. Gilbertson, both care deeply about what they are doing and are humble, caring folk. What they have done for the blues is priceless.

Both are wonderful for bluebirds and are very helpful. I spoke with both at my last home. Such wonderful information they give. I am at a different home now following a divorce but I made sure I got all the traps from these gentlemen. Most precious possesion I had!!

I have no housesparrows here at the new home. But eagles and so forth and many blues!!! If a house sparrow ever shows here I will know what to do because of those men. And a few older posters from here.

Floyd and his wife, Marty as well as Steve Gilbertson have been actively involved in Bluebirding for years. I can tell you from personal experience that all three are quality individuals. I am so glad to read all your positive experiences, as I have not had the opportunity to see them personally recently!

I put the trap in my box yesterday and caught him today. I am so relieved that these boxes are so fast and effective! I am sooo happy and hope I may get my bluebirds back in my boxes... Mr. Van Ert is the best!!!!!
