Anyone used a trailcam?

Has anyone tried using hunting trailcams to photograph birds in the woods? I guess I'll find out because I ordered one today that claims to be able to freeze birds in flight.

I was.., um, inspired:

Since it reached 50 degrees, I was hurrying this afternoon to follow the coyote tracks before the snow melted. But I froze, when I saw huge, round, tracks in the snow by our pond.

From 1-30-09, ice storm

Ever since our neighbor claimed he encountered a black jaguar on our land over a year ago, I've been watching for suspicious tracks.

I took photos and measurements, and as near as I could tell the animal has a 22" to 36" single-tracking stride, and 3.5" L X 2 3/4" W footprint, but the melting snow could have distorted them. I looked online at jaguar/cougar comparison charts and it could be.

Anyway, I plan to find out, since jaguars swing around their territory every week or so.
