Do Cedar Waxwings Bother Bluebirds?

A flock of cedar waxwings showed up in my yard for the first time this spring. They spend a lot of time in the crabapple tree about 40 feet in front of a birdbox that a bluebird pair are hanging around.

I haven't seen any scuffling, but the bluebirds do seem a little agitated by all the new neighbors.

Will the cedar waxwings go away in a few days? If not, are they likely to eventually chase off the bluebirds?

Thanks,

Lois in PA
