Question about bird feed........

My relative was so sweet to buy me several bird feeds for a present. But.....one type of feed (made into a bell), has the following ingredients: Besides various seeds, it has calcium carbonate, gelatin, dextrose, honey, salt. I don't think those last ingredients are good at all.

Then, in the suet bars.....it almost is okay..........BUT.....besides rendered beef suet, corn, etc., it has milk! The label also says "This product may contain one or all of the following allergens: peanuts, tree nuts, soy, fish, and shellfish. I'm thinking the fish is okay (?).........but the milk???

I hate throwing this stuff out. She was so nice to give it to me. But I sure don't want to feed anything bad to the birds.

Thanks!
