No, not a professional by any stretch. Just an amateur with pretty good equipment and some excellent subjects. But thank you for the compliment. It's nice to know folks appreciate them.

Incredible, as always, Dave. You're right, your subjects are excellent!! By the way, I saw that one of your photos graced the cover of the Fall 2008 cover of NABS Bluebird. I have to say that I was NOT surprised! Congratulations.

Thanks, Kathy. I was flattered when NABS asked if they could use it, as I am each time Bet uses one of my pictures on her Sialis site. But I am also flattered, and encouraged when serious bluebirders like we have here on this forum appreciate my efforts.

Here are a few from this morning. Nothing special but I guess it was cold. In some of them the birds look a bit like baby chicks.
