I'd never heard of it either. So I googled, and found the website. There's no orange roof on the thing, either. The link is below. I wouldn't mind trying the 32-3-8 or the 35-3-5, if I could get a few bags at a good price. Appears to be heavy on the nitrogen, very low on the phosphorus, both of which I would appreciate. I have had my johnsons blue since 95 and divided many times, last year it decided not to bloom so a lady from our forums told me to put a handful of super phospate around the bottom and then two weeks later do it again and it bloomed crazy this year. Mine grows to almost 4 feet high and then I cut it back after it blooms and tuck other tall stuff around it. Wish it stayed pretty after bloom but this is not the case for me. Try the phosphate and see!

Ah, but is the bed near the lawn and is the lawn heavily fertilized with what lawns are fed with.....high amounts of nitrogen. If this is the case, the nitrogen can leach into the nearby garden beds and will promote much greenery. But in doing so, nitrogen denies the plant to bloom. Nitrogen can cut into the effects of phosphurus....which can influence the plants' ability to bloom. You should spread the lawn fertilizer by hand in the vicinity of garden plants. You might, next spring, to encourage the geranium to bloom, give the base of the plant a handful of superphopshate...do this when the soil is first ready to be worked. A month later, give the area another handful. This might push the envelope for the plant to produce bloom. In any case, do keep the lawn fertilizer away from your garden plants.

I've had a few 'dwarf' varieties they do stay small in containers otherwise you will have to keep them trimmed to stay really dwarf. I have some in pots (13 or so) that I put in the gh during the winter. In the spring I plant them back out. I cut them wayyyy back and sever the roots in Dec to pot them back up again or they just freeze back too much in my zone 9a. They do just fine. I don't know why some people think they are finicky and fragile about transplanting. They are tough customers. In the summer, they grow about 20 ft or more and bloom their heads off especially in the fall. Some grow back real quick and bloom in the gh in the winter after they get cut back. I do have one purple standard bougie tree. I keep that one more cut back than the others at all times but it still wants to be a wild thang lol. I water and fertilize regularly most of the year. When I plant them out they are near Plumeria so get the same treatment as those.
