Now where can I find large bags of Perlite near Waukesha Oconomowoc ?

You may check with Quality Landscape in Olive Branch, MS. It's been a while since I've been out there, but I seem to remember them having some larger bags of perlite. I would call first to see what they have in stock and then decide if you think it's worth the drive. I'm sure you can find some closer, but I figured I'd throw this out there. I live up near Stayner and the Town and Country store has 85 Litre bags for $37/vermiculite and $25/perlite. Those are sale prices until Feb. 23.

Thanks BR, I definitely want to check them out. Do they have Saturday hours? John, if all you need is perlite and don't want to make the trip to Tampa you can get the 4CF bags from Neeld-Gordon down near the 22nd Ave HD, but it will be $18-19 a bags vs. $15 a bag. Now if you need pine fines the trip to Shell's is well worth it because Mulch Express and TreeMart a little further north on Nebraska both sell fines, ME by the truckload and TM by the 2CF bag, and Cypress Creek slightly north of TreeMart but on Florida Ave. sells fines by the truckload too, as well as fertilizer. So, within close proximity of each other you have a feed store, a mulch distributor, a landscaping company and a landscaping supply company, you can't beat that for convenience! Tom

Not sure of your location, but I bought my bag of perlite at Anoka Ramsey Farm and Garden. They are right on Hwy 10 in Ramsey, which is NW of Minneapolis. I'm sure Linders and the other big centers also would have it in stock.

Like TJ said, head to Stein Garden & Gifts. There is one in Oconomowac on hwy 67, and a nice one at that. I would bet that any type of garden center or nursury would be a good place to check.

Joe - Stein stores are all on the eastern side of the state, that would be a 5 hour drive for me.

Do a search of local garden centers, and start calling or emailing. When I was looking for pine bark fines, I just searched up a bunch of places, and sent them all emails. I got replies the next day and had my fines.

I know exactly where Steins in Cooney is . thanks
I found good Pine Bark Mulch at the K mart right next door and only $2.79 for 2 cu,ft bag . My new mix will be Bark,MG potting mix and Perlite
