Tomato suckers in odd places

We have been growing tomato's in our greenhouse for several years but this is the first time this particular issue has occured. It is happening on several different types of tomato's. The suckers are forming at the normal crotch or axil of the plant but there are also many suckers forming at the end of a flower cluster and even some coming right out of some leaf stems. There are many cases were we have 8-10 tomato's growing and then at the end a sucker is shooting out I'm not sure if these should be pruned or more importantly what's causing the plants to do this. Any feedback or information would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks Joe,
