Watering Question. Haven't watered since Mar 17th. Need help.

It's been so wet in Dallas that I haven't watered since the weeks I put the transplants out in early March.

The toms very likely have never had dry roots since they were planted. Typically to "condition" them to summer I try to do one deep watering a week, but I'm wondering due to blossom rot whether letting the plants dry out would lead to more rot and perhaps I should sort of have a gradual let down to the normal pattern (assuming the big rains are now over).

What do you people that live in super wet climates do? This is something completely new to me so I'm a bit stumped.

Everything else is going fine though I'd say with all the rain and cloud cover I'm about 2 weeks behind where I'm usually at this time of year.
