coral honeysuckle -- invasive roots?

Greg

I'm looking for a flowering vine to fill a spot in my garden that gets limited sun -- i.e. not enough sun for a climbing rose. I used to have a yellow carolina jessamine in this spot that became huge, but its invasive roots made it impossible for anything else to survive in the area around it. Someone has suggested a coral honeysuckle for this spot. It looks like a good choice, but I'm wondering about how invasive its roots might be, and whether they would choke out the roses, annuals and perennials that surround this spot. I'd like to avoid a repeat of the situation with the yellow caro. jess.! What is your experience with the coral honeysuckle? Will it creat "root space" issues in my garden? TIA for any info you can offer!
