Brown Berry is very attractive

Pictures will come as soon as I have a ripe Brown Berry and ripe Black Cherry to put side by side on a plate for you. But I did get one of my first ripe ones yesterday, which I promptly stuffed into my face.

Last year, I asked if it was the same or similar to Black Cherry. I can tell you, it's not. Brown Berry really is brown, a kind of coppery bronze like you see in some black tomatoes. Black Cherry, on the other hand, is more of a dark brownish-red shading to dark green at the top. I suppose it's possible that Brown Berry has the yellow-skin gene and Black Cherry doesn't. Brown Berry is very attractive and would be hard to mistake for black cherry.

It's too early in the season to make a real taste comparison, especially on one, but I'd say this is a keeper. Just on looks alone, I'm impressed.
