Yard Art or Yard clutter?

I call these my walk by yard art. It changes like a a child at her building blocks. I guess I was in a salvador dali mood here. Not as lyrically beautiful as Roselee's. Theorgan pipes make for good bird houses.

I am always changing it . I have broken prayes from a temple in Hangjoe, rock from submarine bases and stuff from Loco Lopez's recycle yard. A bone from a land hike, Lava rock that has been blessed. You name it it is game. I think I have bricks from the concentration camp that my husbands dad was in .

Believe it or not , this is a YEAST AUGUR and a iron doodle from a friend and a old hammer head.. I did not know yeast needed to be augured.

Definitely Yard Art !!! All of it! And it's yard art of the VERY best kind since there is a story to go with all of it. I LOVE IT!

May others please join with in pictures of their yard art.

I did a little yard arting this morning. We collected a number of cypress knees when on vacation to Florda many, many years ago. We made a glass topped coffee table and lamps from them which have long been dismantled, but I kept them. Just a few minutes ago I lined them up on the top of the lattice frame that borders the deck. Looks kind of silly, but oh well; nobody will ever up there anyway ... LOL ... but I finally did something with them after all these years and they do hold happy memories.

So what's your bit to offer in the yard art category?

Nobody will *LOOK* up there anyway, except for me that is, and I took most of them down. Not everything works like you hope it will. So it's back to the drawing board ... :-)

Hairspray and WD40? That's why I love this forum, you can always learn something. I like the piece in front of the grass too but we're currently under a high wind warning, are coming into Spring (more high winds) and that side of the house gets hammered when it blows. So after things calm down in about 6 weeks (at least) the piece will probably live by the grass. BTW: in case you're interested the grass is Muhlenbergia rigens, it's just a baby, only a year old. My DH even likes the piece. He's usually very...tolerant but not enthusiastic but he carted it around the yard for me so I could take the pictures. He thinks it looks good by the grass too. Wow.

Keep trying,Rose....something will give.

I hated that coyote fence in the picture. My husband had it built and the guy did a god awful job. One day I was leaning the countless organ pipes against a tree AGAIN after the cows had knocked them down and I had the A-HA moment and grabbed them and put them on the posts. Our shop is very industrial modern chic and the coyote fence was too rustic and the metal of the pipes jutting around made it work.

This one is maybe clutter . The husband contributed it. It is a old "HAT OF THE MONTH CLUB" art peice that he "modified" to become a certain person's hat from years back that likes to start wars. I am not allowed to throw it out or remove it from the deck. Maybe it needs some straw flowers. It does look like a DR. Suess hat.
