Sugar Apple Seeds

I just wanted to say I recieved sugar apple seeds, from someone from this forum. I opened the package and not only did I get Sugar Apple, I also recieved Sour Sop! It is so nice to be a part of a community of gardener's that want to help you with your questions, but also try and help you get seeds you want. I emailed the person who sent then to me and thanked them for being so awesome. I have sugar apple and sour sop planted. Now I can't wait to see if they grow!

i received a fig cutting from someone in NJ for 5 dollars shipping and i was just as stoked knowing we have such an altruistic community.

I would let the seedlings develop a set of leaves before moving it into its own pot. If you got a lot of seeds try leaving some in your experiment GH Env., and see how much it grows before stopping. I usually just place seeds in a ziploc bag with peat moss but do notice that when its kept too long in the pure moss, the roots seem to have problems. Sugar Apples, container grown, at least three years before any signs of flowering. Good thing is that its possible to flower and fruit a seedling in containers compared to other Annonas.

You can check my website for the link to another forum. Look up FloridaGreenMan. His name is Noel. If anyone can get you seeds to his Big Red, he is. This is Noel's creation and he named it. I just spoke with him and he has seeds available. The Big Red is definitely a better producer than the KM.
