Now I thought those were Barbadoe sheep, but upon closer inspection there is horns on those so it cannot be a dog. I think they must be cows that ate too many brugs. They do synchronized eating. LOL Wildflower 3rd from the bottom is just a different stage of bloom on Dr. Seuss. These have been hit with 60 mph winds several times. Quite amazing for them to have held their buds. My others with buds were chopped and planted so Seuss is the only one with blooms except for 1 kyle. I do have too many and new babies on the way. The babies in the picture are 1 day old. They do eat what I do not want to mow. They are great in spring and summer but winter without rain it is hard to provide them with green without hauling hay. That was a beautiful cover crop of winter rye. Too many hoofs and mouthes.

Some of us are getting rain. On April 29th I got 5 inches and 8 miles SE of here my friend got maybe an inch. I don't know the year that picture was taken. It was posted on May 1.

I don't think they do any shipping. Lucky me, it's not too far. I love that place. If anyone goes there, you'll see some really good native plants...they don't grow as many kinds of plants as they did back when Betty (who passed on to wildflower heaven) was in charge. But if you don't see something you want, just ask, it can't hurt. There's some plants they keep in their greenhouse also. Medina Garden Nursery (I think that's what it's called) is in nearby Medina, Texas and is worth a visit also. Native plants all over and what a beautiful garden!

Yesterday, we took a drive in the Bellville, Sealy area and I found several beautiful types of wildflowers in bloom. Three of them were particularly interesting to me. The first one has narrow, widely spaced leaves and delicate lavender blooms,the second has pretty yellow flowers presented in sprays, and the third had larger, yellow flowers on an upright stem, with large leaves.
