Kathy and Wilo, you read my mind. I was thinking of trying to root Morden's Blush to pass around since you don't see it offered much locally. I can't remember now where I got it, but I have three bushes -- that's how much I like it.

I'm going to try to root several others too, such as Emma Gray.

And yes Kathy, try sticking some Rev D'Ors for me, or I'll come by and get some cuttings and bring Morden Blush, or we can do both. You seem to have that touch for rooting roses.

Wilo, it's only fair that you tell us what roses you got at ARE ... LOL. And I agree, one can always find room for one more rose :-)

Is it okay if I show you a couple more things?

This is Cramoisi Superieur, a frilly red and very nicely scented China. I took the picture by sticking my camera through the chain link fence.

I've got the best neighbors! They let me plant things over there when I run out of room in my yard.

Look at all the buds! It never stops blooming ...

Columbines are wild this year. This is another cross of the yellow 'Hinkleys columbine' and the dark purple 'Little Winkie columbine' ...

I didn't even know I had these until I spied something pink deep within the rainforest of 5 ft. tall Larkspurs. They are Byzantine Gladiolas and my friend, Linda M., said she probably passed them along to me.

Brave little fellas to show up amongst the giants ...

Jolana, I just now saw your comment. This is the bird cage I was conferring with you on what colors to paint it.

The part of the roof showing is bluish purple and the side sections are light green.

Oh and BTW, I just went out and locked up the treasured bromiliads that Patty gave me ... ;-)

Those glads are so sweet. I think it was last year when Carol and I went to Louisiana and sweet pink glads like that were growing all over the sides of the roads in the part of La we were in

Beautiful, Roselee. I especially like the red roses. I read somewhere that 'Valentine' does good, even in shade.

My little Byzantine glads are blooming too. If I had a cage like that, I could grow Obedient plant again.

Jim, you're right about Valentine. Amazingly it will bloom under almost any conditions. ARE tells the story about it getting accidently mowed down and it bloomed at three inches tall!

What... its plant thief season again already?! lol

FWIW, a couple of year's ago someone actually stole a rotating sprinkler head right out of my front yard. Before that a yard angel. And what really took the cake was the thief who thought the reason for the season was to steal a string of Christmas lights.

All in all, things could be going much worse in that dept with the stuff I keep out there, so, no big complaints, just a little annoying.

Of course, you plant thieves here should just bring enough wine to barter. Or, heck just come on up and I'll give you the plants and some wine. ;)
