Tomato seedlings & cold weather

Well, I'd never have thought I'd be worried about this here in sunny Southern California, but I've been caught out by this week's storms! I transplanted seedlings (fairly robust looking ones) that I bought this past weekend into my garden and last night, low temps hit 38. We're supposed to warm up this weekend to a more seasonal low 70s, but it looks like cold & rain again next weekend.

I'm really not at all used to this - are my seedlings going to be ok? Should I be putting something down to try to keep them warm?

Thanks!
