Poor germination of Cherokee Green

raisemybeds

My seedlings have germinated well, but I have a concern about the one exception which seems to be Cherokee Green. There are only 3 seedlings that have come up at all, they are way smaller than all the other varieties, and would not lose their seed coat. I used saliva to get the seedcoat off a couple of them, which worked nicely, but they look like tiny sticks and I cannot even see that cotyledon leaves have formed. It's like they're not growing. This might be a wash, as I have no more seeds of this tomato variety. Any comments about Cherokee Green germination or growth habits? This was to be a new trial for me this season. I like to try something new every year.
