This is 'All Year Round' robin. NO experience require or references needed for newbies or anyone else.
I also want everyone who wants to join know something small each month is good and it can be homemade.

We will have someone new to send to every month. I will post who you will send to on the 6th of every month.

These are the Themes for each month:

June - flag & pinwheel
July - wind chimes
August - garden signs & suncatchers
Sept - garden junk
Oct - candles & candle holders
Nov - table cloths / vases & your favorites Holiday recipe
Dec - pots & any decorating item
Jan - wall art / garden art
Feb - gloves & tools
March - garden book, plant makers & bells
April - ?
May ?
June ?

You will also need to send (your choice) one of these - seeds, bulbs, cuttings or a plant with each months box.

We also ask if your pal has a birthday the month you are sending to them, please add a birthday card or ....
Please read below and email me your answers of these question to me before the 5th.
We will need to know a little about you. If you can email me your answers to these question with your GW name, name and mailing address.

RULES:
#1) if you have a problem with me or anyone else in this RR. Email me directly, do not post on GW. Sorry I had to say that.
#2) if you have trouble sending, just email me and we will work it out.
#3) if you can not send for a month or more but want to come back later or if you need to drop out. Please give me at least 2 weeks notice before mailing deadline. Thank you.
#4) the mailing deadline for each month is the 15th.
#5) if you are not sure about something. PLEASE ASK.
#6) Deadline is June 5th for June mailing. We will take new members every month. And the sign up deadline will be the 5th on each giving month.

Mariann - Oh you are so welcome, I love sharing my experiences and there is so little info on this on the interent, with any form of detail. As far as the place I kept them, due to the time frame with Early Spring, I put the cuttings indoors. Really wasn't sure if they should be warm or cold, but I figured if I'm trying to root them from dormancy, they need to be coming out of dormancy. My assumption was correct on these particular items. I can't say on other woody cuttings, but I prefer the quicker method (in warmth) than the unknown "stick them in the ground" method. They ended up starting green growth, before the outdoor items did. I've actually heard that, depending on the HW cuttings, keeping them warm helps the root growth, so they were in my upstairs bathroom at about 70 degrees constant. Now I'm testing out the softwood cuttings...oh it's so much different! But the bagging method works beautifully with that as well. I have 3 English Laurel cuttings in baggie method and 3 English Laurel cuttings in perlite method. The baggie method has roots EVERYWHERE! And I do mean EVERYWHERE!!! They are growing roots over the entire stem! 3 out of 3 are growing roots. The perlite/bottle method is just starting to get root buds, but isn't showing alot of promise. 2 of the cuttings have died off, so I'm awaiting the growth of roots on one of the 3 cuttings. I'm kind of getting a feel from the type of plant (that I can't explain it) as to which type of rooting method to use for which type of plant. Some seem to do beautifully in the perlite and bottle method and others do better in the baggie method. I suppose it's just keeping notes on each type of plant. Wanted to point out on the propagation boxes above, the only thing lacking is a plugged terra cotta pot to dispense moisture. I've included a link below for one on GW. I received my box from Ann last night. Ann, Thanks so much! Ann sent 5 magazines (2 craft) (2 seed) (1 Taste of Home), plus seeds- "Cigar plant" "Columbine/purple/white" "Money plant" "Shasta Daisy" "Hibiscus-dinner sized plate" and 2 Calligraphy gift bags, frog decoration for outdoors, body lotion (Winterberry), BIG BAG OF PEANUT M&M's (my favorite), Tulips/red/coral, beautiful Angel windchime, terra cotta heart candle, Magic message plant! I want to let everyone that I have to leave town right away. My Aunt pass away (had her fourth open heart back in Feb.) and I have to drive up to Oregon for the service on Saturday.

Still taking sign-ups. Can you also email answer to the questions when you sign-up. That way when I get back I will have them. As I will have to get it started.
