Thinning Tomato Seedlings

ashesmn

I started my tomato seedlings in the Seed Starting Kit from Gurneys. Suprisingly all my tomatoes came up, which I suppose is good except that this being my first time starting my garden from seed, I planted two seeds per "grow plug".

What's the best way to thin the seedlings? Can I just clip one of the tomato seedlings near the base and hope that it'll just die off (yet not kill the other seedling)?

Any suggestions?

I can't believe my good luck that they all came up so well, but well I can't very well plant 60+ tomatoes in what little space I have.
