Startin' early: phosphorus and calcium deficiency question

elskunkito

I start toms way way way too early.

As such it is often cold when they start growing and they get purple leaves.

Certain precautions supposedly help alleviate the phosphorus deficienncy problem.

For those leaves that were in existance before the phosphorus deficiency/cold problem, will the leaves "unpurple" to let me know things are OK now, or do I have to rely on nnew, unpurple leaves to diagnose?

Is there a good way to tell that you don't have a calcium uptake problem?

I have 1 *baby* tomato with no evidence of Blossom End Rot

but I am not sure when BER will show, so I do not know if I have fixed the problem.
