1 is tricky because unfortunately it is not clear which leaves go with the flowers. 2. Appears to be Melilotus officinalis, ribbed melilot 3. Possibly a sow thistle Sonchus sp. Maybe S. arvensis 4. Again very hard to id from the pic but looks like Trifolium campestre, hop trefoil. 5. Vicia cracca, tufted vetch If the ids are correct these are likely to be weeds of cultivation in the US as they are all European natives.

I think I just IDed it -- it's probably creeping bellflower. I'll feel less guilty about ripping it all up now!

OK thanks for putting me on the right track. I'm a bit puzzled though because the specimen I am looking at is a lot hairier than the C. canadensis pictures I have found on the web. That's it. I got seed from Linda and successfully grew it one year and I am not familiar with the foliage , it appears. I did plant seeds in those places years ago. LOL. I am an accidental gardener. i can't remember anything. It is Daucosma laciniata. What is weird is that I posted it on That Name that plant form and someone thought it looked like Mugwort, Artemisia vulgaris. The leaves are similar. I was really sold on that ID and was planning on giving my husband some tea made with it because he has some intestinal problems. I might have possibly poisoned him. Ain't IDing fun? Also , Thank you for making me re-read that thread. I had it a bit wrong about the Queen Ann's Lace in Texas. I also have the Queen Ann lace growing smaller here , well it is another native species called Daucus pusillus. And what people around here call Beggars lice, Beggars ticks, stick tights, is Hedge parsley or Torilis arvensis. I should correct all the misstatements I made there. LOL. I guess that am still living and learning and not too proud to admit when I didn't quite have it right..
