Thank you. I checked Add/Remove, as I still have WinXP, and did not find crush calculator listed there as installed, so perhaps less damage has been done than I feared. I am going to run the two programs you suggested, which I have already been using, and I will check for "monsters under the bed (under the browser)" each time I follow a link to one of those craft sites so I can find out where the trouble is coming from.

Yep - 'Search for a Professional Near You' is right below the original post. And it jerks across the page. It's not as large as that other mess they had posted, but the movement is very distracting. And annoying! BTW I do have ad blocker enabled and this still shows up. I think this is their way of getting around ad blocker. It would be better if they had topics posted that are germane to the garden forum, and particularly to each section. Topics like - How to post your growing zone Potting mix basics Succulents 101 Of course, since previous FAQs got changed, maybe that won't work either.
