Are you still looking for Daltile French Quarter Mardi Gras tile? i have about 390 (12x12’s) that my daughter had bought to tile her home years ago. We laid most of the tile but then put down wood flooring. This is why we have a surplus of this tile. I also have some 12x6’s and 6x6’s left over from my home project. i love this tile and cannot understand why Daltile would discontinue this product. In fact, i was halfway through with my house when Home Depot quit handling this tile. Then after some time went by, they restocked and I was able to finish my home. I've have a 'Mardi Gras' ... bought it from Florida Colors. It finally developed an inflo last fall, and then promptly shriveled up and fell off as the days were already too short and cool for it to develop. This will be the third summer I have had it. I was outside tonite watering plants and was pleased to see another inflo developing on it! Am hoping this will be the year I finally have flowers! And what flowers they are from what your photo shows! What's the fragrance like on it?

Lent precedes Fat Tuesday (Mardi Gras) You’ve got that backwards. Today is Fat Tuesday and tomorrow is Ash Wednesday, the kick-off to Lent. My parents met at a Fastnacht party in Germany some 60-something years ago. I first hooked up with my now-wife during Mardi Gras season at a N.O. themed bar/restaurant in Hoboken, NJ 19 years ago. I never thought about that minor coincidence before just now. And now I wish I could figure out a way to swing a small celebration together tonight, but my daughter has two sports and my wife’s been working late, so that might not be feasible. Public Service Announcement - Lent is a perfect time to try out some life changes. The 40-something days is long enough to break a habit and see results, short enough to where you don’t need to dwell on the anxiety of “forever.” You don’t need to be Christian or religious. If you are, great, you can look to it for strength, but it’s a good time slot for everyone.

I have a 10 year old TMG. Blooms all year long and always has seed pods. Almost to the point of calling them a nuisance. It should have been root pruned and soil refreshed this spring.
