I am definitely in favor of it.

Beans are probably the most diverse group there is. I think there are more different beans then tomatoes or Peppers or hot peppers. so beans it should be.

I would love to go to the bean forum. it does need its own type of growing.

I would like a forum for ALL legumes, including trees and groundcovers.

"Legumes" is a huge category. Nothing would prevent postings about locust trees and clover, although I suspect most of the members will be talking about edible legumes.

It has been two weeks now since the idea of a 'Bean' forum was put up for discussion. The suggestion brought forth a lot of support, much of it very passionate.

A week ago, the input of those who participated was compiled and resulted in this Proposal for a 'Legumes' Forum.

What is needed now for this proposal to move forward for consideration by Garden Web management? Those who have expressed interest are now anticipating a response.

I would love to see a legumes forum.

I like pole beans as well as the next person, but the idea of passionate legume fanciers is a bit disturbing.

I feel a bit safer among general vegetable people.
