Where it lists all the forums, if you go to the bottom to the search link, it is broken.

I think I am seeing something new on search. A menu to select gw, ths, au, and uk and a red go box.

Has that been there all along?

No, it is new...just like the new Image uploading directly from one's computer

See the Browse link? Whoo-Hoo! I'm sure pleased with that new feature and am sure lots of others will be also.

Thank you for that link. That feature does work for me too, but I still can't search thru current postings on the Exchange forums. That's what I'm primarily interested in searching. Thanks to mrbrownthumb, I posted a request to fix the Search function in the Suggestions forum. Here is a link that might be useful: My posting in the suggestions forum.

'Search' broken, Deleted posts? A fix.

I have also noticed some posts are not coming up in searches anymore. I would recommend not using the search feature here and instead searching using Google as follows: bagging site:http://forums2.gardenweb.com/forums/load/fruit for e.g. a search for posts with "bagging" in this forum. The "site:" restricts it to this forum only, not the whole Internet. Scott

I think I've made things worse. I downloaded malwarebytes and super anti spyware which did scans. Nothing but tracking cookies were found. Anyway, and this actually made IE worse than it was,but I updated to IE 9 and now when I click any favorites they just sit and spin. So,IE is basically useless to me now. I'm thinking I could maybe use my cd's that I ordered when I first got the computer over eight years ago to put the computer back like it came but seriously I'm thinking at this point I've messed it up so bad that only getting a new computer is my answer. Really wanted to wait until the new Windows 9 or 10 came out. Now I think some aspirin is in order for me. LOLOL Really appreciate all of you guys/gals for your suggestions.

Where on this forum do I search for info?

When you type in the search bar, it gives you the option of searching just within the Hosta forum. Then you can sort the results by a couple options, like relevance, recent posts, popularity etc. Try both "mulch" and "slugs". P.S. I use a very fine aged pine bark. Not a whole lot of slug damage, but I'm also lucky to have lots of gravel and stone near my beds. The buggers don't like crawling through that.

The menu next to the little red box seems to have changed. Useful options like au and ths are not there anymore.

To the left of go I see a dropdown arrow with choices for 'Home', 'Europe', and 'UK.' The default that is showing is 'Garden'.

Albert, are you not seeing the drop down arrow?

When I first found the drop down arrow among the options was ''au'' which took me to The GardenWeb Australia Forums.
