Searching members trade lists works for me.
I just tried it by following the member Page link at the bottom of the pages from
Suggestions-(forums.gardenweb)
Bulbs (forums2.gardenweb)
Money Saving Tips (ths.gardenweb)

Is the link you are using possibly one you had saved to your favs or something maybe and it is obsolete?

How exactly did you get that link and message? What Forum? Where at on the forum? Maybe it is just a different way to get to the search than the way I go. Maybe it is just from one, or a few forums.

I have the actual search members list saved to a GW misc folder and usually access it from there.

I just went to your member page, and noticed the link Send me an email is not in its usual place. In fact, I didn't notice it at first where it is placed on your page.

I clicked on it, and it took me to to some non GW email form. AND, I could see your addy.

My guess is that you have used the dropdown box and set it to Show my email addy to MEMBERS but have not checked the box to receive email via the form here.

Might you want to check that...and maybe change that?

Well crud...I just tried to email you via that strange form. I think it might be tied into Outlook Express or something. I have it, but don't have it set up, and it tries to get me to set it up....which I'm not going to do.

You pegged it Sue, I had bookmarked an old address which they must have changed in the recent server move. I've bookmarked the new address, lol! Thanks!

I set up the links on my member and trade page for the yahoo email because my rr email isn't working since I got the new computer, but I don't want to switch it on GW because I hope to get it up and running again. Considering the way GWs email system works, it's about 6 of one and a half dozen of the other.

Good to hear that was all it was with the search. I think I may have been Nancy Drew in a former life...reckon?

I'm wondering if the GW email might be reliable now. I haven't really put it to the test, but may try it over at the test forum.

Let's cross our fingers that the recent upgrades maybe fixed it also....or I'm gonna maybe be the first to (complain) report it.
