Trellis mates--long

On the west side of the yard, against the fence, is a long wire trellis that supports Pearly Gates, America, and some clematis. Here are some early and current photos.

America, September. It is really coral, not orange, as it may look here.

Clematis in May that is still blooming, not as profuse of course. It never stopped flowering.

Everything is so pretty. Your America is dazzeling. Pearly Gates is pretty...is it fragrant? The Pricilla Burton with your clematis is striking. And I agree that the Ballerina grouping is charming. With such a view, I imagine you don't mind doing dishes so very much.

Priscilla Burton looks great with that clematis.

I love the tumbled look of Flower Carpet & Ballerina on their tripod.

Thanks for all the compliments! As far as I remember, Pearly Gates has only a very weak scent. It is so difficult to find the perfect rose, isn't it?
