Astilbe, Bleeding Heart, Coreopsis, Foxglove, and Phlox come to mind, although the foxglove might reseed itself a bit more than you like. Comments (4)Trim? I rip it out by the handfuls and beg peope to take it away. Mine is equally as happy to the point where it is more than a thug. hostared? Why bother rooting it when like 'Creeping Jenny' or sedum 'Acre' you can rip it up, lay it down, throw some dirt on the cut end and it'll root? Fresh, Jen? This stuff... ah forget it. Comments (9)There are different lamiums that might be ok in sun. I have some as a ground cover in my full sun front beds and it seems happy as can be. I have it in shade where it is also happy, it might just need companion plants to keep it a bit covered....See Moredannie
