I've finished addressing the envelopes!
Comments (9)Thanks everyone! It's a little bit against etiquette to use labels on wedding invites, but I just didn't feel up to being let loose with a silver sharpie on these envelopes. LOL I also printed our return address labels and used a cute little scalloped paper punch for those. As soon as I get everything totally finished tonight, I'll take pics and post of EVERYTHING. WRT the stamps. I DID know you could order custom stamps. But, since I don't yet know how much these invites will weigh, I am not going that route. I HOPE they don't weigh over the max for the 44 cent stamps, because I REALLY want to be able to use these....See MoreTom - Where do you get the cute wax-paper seed envelopes?
Comments (8)Hi Carol, Lou is right. These are glassine G1 envelopes, they fit inside the coin envelopes. I really like them but I have not found a cheap source for them, I get them here, but even ordering 1000 they are a nickle a piece, these folks have crazy expensive shipping costs. Comments (7)It may look like it printing blank. Test with a full sheet of paper. Your putting the envelopes in one side and it printing in the middle. You've got to set it for printing an envelope. To set it for envelope printing use the place were you are typing the address. I have Microsoft Works Word Processor. What do you have? Once I get an envelope address the way I want it, I name it 5 x 7 The address doesn't matter, it can be highlighted and deleted and type in a new address and click SAVE AS giving it a different name. In other words I go to my Documents and open the size envelope I want. In my case I would go to TOOLS = Evelopes - single envelope - OK = Pick the size of the envelope. New Document - OK At the Left top - Page Setup - Envelope Feed - Select the side Feed - OK Because of the long setup is the reason I save a copy to My Documents....See MoreCCF, Envelope Enclosure Ideas
Comments (17)I don't really like the balloon idea. They are a big choking hazard and although your girl may be big enough, a smaller child could get a hold of the balloon and I doubt the adults there would even be aware that ballons are choking hazards. The ideas they provided you with are the probably the best to go with. I can't really think of anything else that would be suitable and flat enough for an envelope. Maybe cartoon bandaids or something... but again, do they even have water to wash wounds, would kids try to chew the bandaids not knowing what they are, etc? Stick to what they recommend or close variations; thay are probably tried and true favorites You don't want to open a can of worms introducing a new item into a culture that isn't used to it....See Moregarnetmoth
