Hi Renee! good to see you over here. : ) That's ceritostigma plumbaginoides. I have it growing in most of my beds. It looks great under roses and hides their occasional bare legs quite well. Blooms in shade and sun - now how can you beat that! Cameron, we have lots of native ceanothus that bloom blue in CA. I grow Sierra blue, which is a deep blue. Concha is another fabulous one. They don't like summer watering so they're not good in areas that get regular rainfall from May to Oct. Sue, love your delphs!!! Diana

I would really appreciate it if you would collect, I have salvia texana and penstemonoides which grow fine and would love some more of the Texan sages, if you ever see seeds of salvia ballotiflora, urtifolia of the wild farinaceas I would love to try, I have salvia farinacea Henry Duelberg and just adore it, thanks in advance... Kermit: Salvia balloaeflora is native to the Texas Hill Country more rain than the desert (30") but it is not a cloud forest plant either. We had 50" of rain one year it did fine. I would be interestede to see how it performs in California. Voodoobrew & Annette : I have never seen seed on the plants here or at the 1000'elevation in the Hill Country. I can see about cuttings for here in the USA. I will see what I can do for cuttings. Annette : I do have Salvia farinacea called "Bicolor" the bee lines in the lip have fussed together to make a white blotch surrounded by blue.I can send you all(voodoo brew)some of those to try. I am in the process of moving my daughter so I will get some out as soon as I locate them. I have had a few revert back to a standard blue /w bee lines but only a few. Art

Wendey; since you're in MA, I'm assuming you have a Christmas Tree Shop near you. They seem to be the only place I can find Unwins/LVS seed at, but they certainly do have a nice selection! I've been purchasing my LVS seeds at CTS for 2 seasons now, and it's something I look forward to. But, they're opening a CTS across the highway from where I work, so I'm in BIG financial trouble ;) I can't remember what seed/plant it was, but I had purchased some seed two years ago that nobody else sold (besides Unwins), but the following year I saw someone else selling it. Maybe this one will catch on; it really is pretty. I think I have seed left over too, but I don't see any sign of my plant producing seed before it frosts :(
